Team

Sjuul Baltussen

Sjuul brings over €1.5 billion in deal experience across diverse asset classes and he has been responsible for numerous joint ventures as Head of Acquisitions for the Netherlands and Denmark at Round Hill Capital. Before joining Round Hill Capital, he contributed to Deloitte's Real Estate team, engaging in various M&A transactions and restructuring processes. He holds an MSc in Real Estate Management & Development from Eindhoven University of Technology.

Niels van der Windt

Niels has 10 years of experience in Real Estate M&A with a focus on residential, office and development investment strategies on pan-European level. Niels has a proven track record in real estate management for both JV partners and discretionary funds with most of its experience obtained at Round Hill Capital. Previously, Niels was a Manager at Deloitte providing M&A services to (real estate) clients. Niels has a background in both real estate and finance with MScs obtained at the University of Amsterdam and Eindhoven University of Technology.

Rick Willemsen

Rick is an experienced asset manager who was previously working for APF International. He was responsible for overseeing a significant office portfolio in Amsterdam and Rotterdam with a focus on value-add properties. Rick started his career as a real estate consultant Agency at DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield, focusing on the Amsterdam region. Equipped with a broad network of relationships with local real estate agents and potential lessees. Rick holds an MSc in Real Estate Management & Development from the Eindhoven University of Technology.

Retief Viljoen

Retief is an experienced auditor and fund controller with over 12 years of experience in financial institutions and real estate companies, showcasing a robust background in financial management. Before joining Orion Investment Partners, he served as a Director at CBRE IA&R, focusing on fund controlling for multiple investment platforms managed by CBRE Investment Management. Retief is a registered Chartered Accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
